Creating Print Ready Stickers in CorelDraw

  1. Create a 48″ x 3″ canvas in CorelDraw
  2. Import the roland.xml file from the school common drive using window > colour palettes > open palette…
  3. Create/paste in your designs you want made into a sticker
  4. Add a cutline using a circle, square, or custom shape (using Bezier/Pen tool).
  5. Ensure your cutline is HAIRLINE and uses the 100% Cut Contour pink colour
  6. Save your finished file onto your school drive
  7. COPY the file into \\WGS-HAND-IN \ PRINTSHOP drive from any computer in the school
  8. Check in with a computers teacher to ensure the file has been setup correctly

Cut Vinyl Installation - Hinge Method

  1. Tape entire graphic in place using a single piece of tape (your “hinge”)
  2. Pull sticky part of the graphic away from the wall towards the hinge
  3.  Slice off the white backing with a razor
  4. Carefully push down the graphic from the hinge to the opposite side using the applicator
  5. Once it is completely pushed down and stuck to the wall, remove the tape hinge.
  6. Repeat on the opposite site
  7. Carefully remove the transfer tape from the graphic.

Cut Vinyl Installation - with Fluid

  1. Remove the entire white backing from the graphic keeping the sticky side UP
  2. LIberally apply application fluid to the entire sticky surface
  3. Place the graphic in the location you want
  4.  Using the applicator, gently push out all the fluid from the center out to the edges untill the graphic lies flat with no bubbles
  5. Wait approximately 10-30 minutes for the fluid to dry
  6. Gently remove the transfer tape from the graphic
  7. If the graphic is not sticking to the surface, let the fluid dry longer.

Standard Wall Vinyl Installation

  1. Remove the entire white backing from the graphic keeping the sticky side UP
  2. LIberally apply application fluid to the entire sticky surface
  3. Place the graphic in the location you want
  4.  Using the applicator, gently push out all the fluid from the center out to the edges untill the graphic lies flat with no bubbles

Floor Graphic Installation

  1. Thoroughly clean and prepare floor
  2. SMALL GRAPHIC:  Use Fluid Application method above
  3. LARGE GRAPHIC:  Use Hinge Application method above (use fluid as well)
  4. Thoroughly remove all fluid/bubbles from the graphic
  5. Apply 1-2 layers of wax overtop
